Partners and memberships
Teraqua is a node in a network of partners from the private and public sector. There are close personal connections to UwArc GbR, a company led by Martin and Christof Mainberger operating as field archaeological contractor and as consultant for clients from archaeological institutions and museums. Course attendants and certified Scientific Divers have opportunity to get field experience in this work environment. Taucherquelle, directed by Adalbert Müller, is a provider for professional and recreational diving equipment with best connections to international diving trademarks. Scientific Divers get special conditions in purchasing their personal gear.
The Hemmenhofen Training Center for Inland Water Archaeology is a partnership of Teraqua with the Landesamt für Denkmalpflege im Regierungspräsidium Stuttgart, Dienststelle Hemmenhofen aiming to train and educate students, technicians and academics in underwater and wetland archaeology. The HTCIWA is Recognized Partner in the UNESCO Unitwin Network.
Also a cooperation with the Landesamt für Denkmalpflege im Regierungspräsidium Stuttgart, Dienststelle Hemmenhofen and with the University of Constance, Limnological Institute constitutes the AG Forschungstauchen (Scientific Diving Working Group). Aim of this cooperation is to train the technical and academic offspring in scientific diving, but also to foster scientific research in the fields of archaeology and limnology.
Teraqua is a member in the Commission for Scientific Diving Germany (KFT)
